Art to Music Commission by Roddy MacNeill (Music is Luna by Bombay Bicycle Club)

In June 2021, Houlet Studio commissioned Roddy MacNeill to do one his 'Art to Music' pieces.

'Luna' by Bombay Bicycle Club was chosen as the music as it is our daughters name and the band is one we have followed since a gig in Oran Mor many moons ago.

When Luna was born, she and Lorna stayed in hospital overnight and Neil went home and played this song on repeat contemplating life with a daughter! A special time and this painting takes us back there but it also represents the speedy movement in time since.
